Pistachio Cardamom Hot Chocolate



1c Three Trees Pistachio nutmilk
1 TBSP pure maple syrup, or to taste 
2 TBSP cacao powder 
1/8 tsp ground cardamom
pinch of sea salt

Heat pistachio nutmilk over medium heat. Ladle a small amount of the milk into a bowl with the cacao powder and whisk until smooth, then pour the mixture back into the pistachio nutmilk. This will prevent the cocoa from lumping.

While the mixture is heating, whisk in maple syrup, ground cardamom, and salt. Once the mixture is hot, serve immediately.
