Sales Director

This position requires leadership and business management skills.  The Sales Director is responsible for Sales Planning, Budgeting, and Execution.  S/he will lead the development and implementation of Sales strategies, objectives, and tactics—working with our network of brokers (sales rep partners) to increase sales.  This position also involves working closely with the CEO to execute Marketing programs and manage in-store Marketing initiatives.

Sales

  • Sales forecasting and update sales plans to achieve company’s revenue and strategic goals

  • Analyze sales data and track sales performance against objectives

  • Manage and oversee a network of brokers and distribution partners; motivate and energize broker partners to achieve company’s sales objectives

  • Establish and maintain working relationships with key customers and retail accounts

  • Build and deliver effective presentations to brokers / distributors / customers; make sales calls to retail accounts

  • Develop promotional plans, trade spend, and work within budget guidelines to achieve sales objectives (monthly, quarterly, annually)

Marketing

  • Become an industry expert, staying on top of consumers’ evolving needs and market trends

  • Optimize and implement Marketing programs, such as Brand Ambassador Program, Demo Program

  • Event planning and execution (mostly trade shows)

  • Continuous improvement of digital marketing including: website, ecommerce, social media, SEO/SEM

  • Manage creative resources, create brand assets and all Marketing collateral

 New Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new retailers and customers in new channels to meet annual goals

  • Establish relationships with and sell in to new accounts and channels

Supply Chain and Operations Director

This role will be responsible for product and process quality to ensure the highest level of customer and consumer satisfaction.  P&L responsibilities include: Manufacturing Margin, Warehousing, and Distribution.  Position will be responsible for all aspects of Operations, including production planning and forecasting, sourcing / procurement, supplier relationships, overseeing production, QA, inventory management, and logistics and supply chain management.

Supply Chain

  • Develop and implement plans to significantly reduce COGS across the supply chain (raw materials, packaging, finished goods, warehousing, and freight)

  • Work in conjunction with CEO and sales team to develop S&OP forecasts

  • Manage purchasing and inventory of all raw materials

  • Effectively build and manage strategic relationships with all suppliers.  Ensure current suppliers have adequate capacity to meet company’s growth projections, work with suppliers to improve the reliability and efficiency of the supply chain

  • Identify new supplier partners as needed to ensure both capacity and quality needs are being met

  • Establish additional procedures and metrics to measure operational efficiency, such as manufacturing yield

Manufacturing / Quality

  • Oversee manufacturing / production runs

  • Responsible for the design and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure that quality standards are met during production

  • Continuously ensure or improve product quality

  • Maintain/develop raw material, packaging, and finished product specifications

  • Develop and issue manufacturing instructions for new products and processes

Production and Account Manager

This role will be responsible for overseeing the production of Three Trees products and manage the production and the relationship with a key customer. Position will oversee all aspects of production, including production planning, purchasing, on-site production management, QA, inventory management, logistics, and supply chain management.  

QA and Logistics

  • Oversee manufacturing / production runs

  • Fulfill pre-run and post-run requirements

  • Manage MRP and inventory of all raw materials, packaging, and finished goods

  • Effectively build and manage strategic relationships with all suppliers.  Ensure current suppliers have adequate capacity to meet company’s growth projections, work with suppliers to improve the reliability and efficiency of the supply chain

  • Place orders for raw materials and packaging according to production schedule, then organize for the logistics of deliveries

  • Schedule production shifts in conjunction with sales team

  • Develop an MRP system to ensure seamless production shifts

  • Post-production product validation

Account Management

  • Manage key customer account from production to delivery of the final product

  • Main point of contact for key account

  • Receive and process POs from key account

  • Planning and scheduling of deliveries to key account weekly

Marketing Intern

We are looking for a creative and analytical individual who can make a real impact. This position will work closely with the VP of Marketing and gain firsthand experience at a CPG startup.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Spearhead growth into new channels, develop and implement strategy 

  • Develop and execute new marketing initiatives to help raise brand awareness, including grassroots marketing programs

  • Develop branded content to be distributed through social channels, web, email, etc.  

  • Spearhead consumer research studies to inform brand and marketing strategy
