Black Sesame Gingerbread Donuts with White Chocolate Maple Glaze

This decadent recipe is perfect for the holidays! It features Three Trees Black Sesame Amondmilk with nutty, toasted flavor that pairs perfectly with delicious ginger spice and white chocolate maple flavors. This unique pastry is best served alongside Christmas carols and holiday cheer!

Ingredients

Yields 6 Donuts

Donut Ingredients:

3/4C All Purpose Flour

1 Tsp Baking powder

1 Tsp Baking Soda

1 Tsp Ground Ginger

1 Tsp Ground Cinnamon

1/4 tsp Salt

3 Tbsp Three Trees Black Sesame Milk

2 Tbsp melted Coconut Oil

1 Tbsp Honey (vegan sub: maple syrup)

1 Large egg (vegan sub: ground flaxseed)

1 Tsp Vanilla Extract

1/4C Brown Sugar

Glaze Ingredients:

1 cup White Chocolate Chips

3 Tbsp Coconut Oil

1 Tbsp Maple Syrup

1/2 Tbsp Three Trees Vanilla Almond Milk

1 Tsp Vanilla Extract

1 Tsp Maple Extract

Directions

Donut Preparation:

Preheat Oven to 350ºF

Mix together Flour, baking soda, powder, ground ginger, cinnamon and salt. In a separate bowl, mix all wet ingredients - coconut oil, Milk, Honey, Egg, Vanilla Extract and Brown Sugar until fully incorporated. Once that is mixed, combine wet and dry mixture and fully combine them. In a donut cavity, fill cavities 3/4th way.

Glaze Preparation

In a small pot, heat chocolate chips, oil and milk until the chips are completely melted. Stir in Extracts and Maple syrup until fully combined. Pour glaze into a bowl, once donuts have cooled, dip donuts into the glaze, sprinkle crushed graham crackers (optional) and let it rest on a cooling rack.
