Sales and Brand Manager

This position requires leadership and business management skills.  The Sales and Brand Manager is responsible for Sales Planning, Budgeting, and Execution.  S/he will lead the development and implementation of Sales strategies, objectives, and tactics—working with our network of broker partners to gain distribution and increase sales.  S/he is also responsible for building the brand and communicatig brand values through every touch point.


  • Sales forecasting and update sales plans to achieve company’s revenue and strategic goals

  • Analyze sales data and track sales performance against objectives

  • Manage and oversee a network of brokers and distribution partners; motivate and energize broker partners to achieve company’s sales objectives

  • Establish and maintain working relationships with key customers and retail accounts

  • Build and deliver effective presentations to brokers / distributors / customers; make sales calls to retail accounts

  • Develop and ensure distribution partners’ execution of promotional plans

  • Manage trade spend, and work within budget guidelines to achieve sales objectives (monthly, quarterly, annually)


  • Become an industry expert, staying on top of consumers’ evolving needs and market trends

  • Ensure success of Marketing programs such as Brand Ambassador Program, Demo Program

  • Event planning and execution (mostly trade shows)

  • Develop and oversee implementation of digital marketing including: website, ecommerce, social media, SEO/SEM

  • Manage creative resources, create brand assets and all Marketing collateral

 New Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new retailers and customers in new channels to meet annual goals

  • Establish relationships with and sell in to new accounts and channels

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience at a small to medium-sized CPG company

  • Experience growing a company from startup to medium stage ideal 

  • Experience managing brokers, distributor, retailers in the Natural channel

  • Developed and executed strategic and tactical sales plans including quotas and account objectives

Supply Chain Advisor

We are looking for an experienced advisor / consultant to help us improve Operations. You would work with our team on an ongoing basis, but likely not in a full-time capacity. You would conduct a study of our entire supply chain— raw materials procurement, manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution, with the objective of identifying tangible steps to improve efficiency and margin. Other areas of interest include QA and manufacturing management. Our team currently manages, and you would be expected to help improve, the following:

Supply Chain

  • Help improve procurement practices to significantly reduce COGS across the supply chain (raw materials, packaging, finished goods, warehousing, and freight)

  • Help build and manage strategic relationships with all suppliers.  Ensure current suppliers have adequate capacity to meet company’s growth projections, work with suppliers to improve the reliability and efficiency of the supply chain

  • Identify new supplier partners as needed to ensure both capacity and quality needs are being met

  • Establish additional procedures and metrics to measure operational efficiency, such as manufacturing yield

Manufacturing / Quality

  • Oversee manufacturing / production runs

  • Responsible for the design and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure that quality standards are met during production

  • Continuously ensure or improve product quality

  • Maintain/develop raw material, packaging, and finished product specifications

  • Develop and issue manufacturing instructions for new products and processes

 Ideal candidate:

  • Expertise in Supply Chain, Sourcing, and Operations in consumer packaged goods

  • Experience with companies in growth stage

Marketing Intern

We are looking for a creative and analytical individual who can make a real impact.  This position will have the unique opportunity to work across functions and gain real hands-on experience at a fast-growing plant-based foods startup. 

·       Spearhead growth into new channels, develop and implement strategy

·       Develop and execute new marketing initiatives to help raise brand awareness, including grassroots marketing opportunities

·       Develop branded content to be distributed through social channels, web, email, etc. 

·       Spearhead consumer research studies to inform brand and marketing strategy


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Creative, analytical, and have great attention to detail

  • Strong work ethic; eager to learn and roll up sleeves when and wherever needed

  • Results-orientation. Focused on execution and desire to make an impact

  • Must be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment that is output and results-oriented, and can operate independently

Digital Marketing and Community Manager

We are looking for a creative and analytical individual who can make a real impact. This position will be responsible for driving brand awareness through digital media and community outreach.


  • Develop and implement digital Marketing strategy to help raise brand awareness amongst target consumers, ultimately accelerating sales growth

  • Develop and execute new marketing initiatives, including grassroots marketing programs, to build the brand, engage with consumers, and increase brand loyalty

  • Develop branded content to be distributed through social channels, web, email, etc.  

  • Manage Marketing events– from logistics to brand representation, and ensuring success at every event (food fesitvals and conferences, sampling events, industry trade shows, etc)

  • Customer retention and satisfaction. Respond to consumer inquiries via email and phone, engage with consumers and offer the best customer service possible;
