Chocolate Pear Date Protein Smoothie
Blended frozen pears give this protein smoothie a dreamy, silky consistency, and with nutrient-rich cacao powder and one naturally sweet Medjool date, it’s basically a dessert in a glass (without any of the extra nonsense)!

¾ cup unsweetened non-dairy milk
1 tbsp ground flax seeds
5 tsp raw cacao powder
1 serving unflavored plant-based protein
⅛ tsp vanilla powder or ¼ tsp vanilla extract
1 pitted Medjool date
¼ tsp Ceylon cinnamon
Sea salt, a pinch
½–1 frozen pear, preference

Blend the Liquids, Powders, & Date. First, add the unsweetened non-dairy milk, dry ingredients, and the pitted Medjool date. Blend until completely smooth and not chalky or gritty.
Blend the Frozen Pear. Next, toss in the frozen pear. Blend until a thick, creamy, and smooth consistency is achieved. If desired, add a splash of liquid to obtain your preferred smoothie texture.
Serve. Pour into a chilled glass and enjoy!
