Chocolate Gingerbread Smoothie

¾ cup unsweetened almond milk
1 tbsp ground flax seeds
5 tsp cacao powder
1 serving unflavored plant-based protein
⅛ tsp vanilla powder or ¼ tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp high-quality honey or blackstrap molasses
½–1 frozen banana, preference
GINGERBREAD SPICE
½ tsp Ceylon cinnamon
¼ tsp ground ginger
¼ tsp ground allspice
⅛ tsp ground nutmeg
⅛ tsp ground cloves
Celtic sea salt, a pinch

Blend the Liquid and Dry Ingredients. To a high-speed blender, add the non-dairy milk with the dry ingredients (everything but the banana). Blend until smooth.
Blend the Frozen Banana. Toss in the frozen banana chunks. Start your blender on low, then gradually increase speed as the banana starts to integrate with the other ingredients. If needed, you may need to scrape down the sides or add more liquid to achieve your desired smoothie consistency.
Serve. Pour into a chilled glass and enjoy!
